NEWS NOW | COLOMBO – The Cabinet has decided to amend the current Immigration & Emigration Act in order to meet the present requirements.
It was recommended by a special committee, which consisted experts, appointed to study the required changes.
Thereafter, the Department of Immigration and Emigration prepared a report based on that, mentioning the regulations that should be included in the new Act.
