NEWS NOW | COLOMBO – A 45-year-old person who was in a stationary lorry in the Sirimapura area in Trincomalee has been gunned down.
Police said that three assailants arrived in a car had committed the crime and fled the area.
The victim was Hendavitharana Selin Kumara, alias ‘Thel Kumara’.
The body is kept at Trincomalee Hospital.
Police said the reason for the shooting is yet to be ascertained.
