NEWSNOW | COLOMBO – President Maithripala Sirisena’s former chief of staff I.H.K. Mahanama and State Timber Corporation (STC) former chairman P. Dissanayaka was released on bail by the Colombo Chief Magistrate Ranga Dassanayake today.
The Magistrate ordered Rs.100,000 cash bail and two sureties of Rs.2 million each.
The suspects were arrested and remanded for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs. 20 million.
