Ukraine’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN), Sergiy Kyslytsya, likened Russia’s attack on Ukraine to the start of World War II.
“This conflict was chosen by someone sitting in the bunker right now,” Kyslytsya stated, adding that everyone knows Russia initiated the war in Ukraine without provocation. “We know what happened to the person in the Berlin bunker in May 1945,” he stated.
“It reminds you of something, doesn’t it?” Kyslytsya asked, claiming a parallel between Russia’s war on Ukraine and the start of World War II. Indeed, there are striking parallels with the outbreak of World War II,” he remarked.
Even after the Russian leader put his nuclear forces on high alert yesterday, “What madness!” The Ukrainian Ambassador reacted by saying, “If he wants to kill himself, he does not need to use nuclear weapons, what he should do is what the person in the bunker in Berlin did in May 1945.” used the phrase.
Kyslystsya read the phone messages she made to her mother over a deceased soldier at the General Assembly stage, noting that Ukraine is battling Russia’s onslaught despite everything and has died approximately 5,000 men so far.
