Youth and Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa paid an official visit to Qatar yesterday.
On this occasion, the Director of the International Federation met with Maj. Gen. Abdul Aziz Al Ansari and discussed.
Minister Namal Rajapaksa said on Twitter that Sri Lanka intends to increase 300,000 jobs in Qatar.
He said the move would not only alleviate youth unemployment but also increase foreign exchange earnings.
Minister Rajapaksa was accompanied by Minister of State for Foreign Employment Promotion Priyankara Jayaratne and Minister of State for Aviation and Export Zone Development T.V. Sanaka.
