Indian Tamil film actor and veteran director T Rajendar has released a song about the current national crisis in Sri Lanka.
Titled “ Nanga Vazhanuma, Saganuma Sollunga” it translates to “tell us if we should live or die”.
The song which is sung by T Rajendar is written by Sri Lankan lyricist Kavignar. Pottuvil Asmin and composed by musician Shameel J.
Calling on the Sri Lankan Government to heed the demands of the public, the song is also a tribute to Chaminda Lakshan who was killed in the police shooting that took place during a public protest in Rambukana on 19 April 2022.
