Bandaragama – Atalugama girl Fathima Ayesha was found drowned and murdered in the autopsy report. However, according to the postmortem report the victim was not raped.
Meanwhile, a 29-year-old man arrested in connection with the murder of Atalugama girl Fathima Ayesha has confessed to the crime.
It is noteworthy that the suspect was arrested during a joint search conducted by the Kalutara District Crime Branch and the Panadura Regional Crime Branch. Ayesha’s burial was took place last night.
