A 42-year-old named Pradeep alias ‘Sana’ has been pronounced dead on admission to hospital following a shooting incident at the Manning Market in Peliyagoda today(21).
A nearby CCTV camera had captured the shooting carried out by an unidentified gunman who arrived in a car.
The shooting was reported this afternoon.
Investigations have been initiated into the incident.
