A person opened fire in the air inside a fuel filling station in Hindagoda, Badulla.
It is reported that the shooting took place yesterday (27) around 11.30 pm.
Investigations carried out by the police have revealed that due to a dispute at the fuel station, firing was done to scare the employees of the fuel station.
It is noteworthy no one was reported injured in the shooting.
No one has been arrested in connection with the incident and the Badulla police are conducting further investigations.
