Due to the inclement weather prevailing in the hilly areas, floods and massive landslides have occurred in various areas.
Main roads, residential areas and some other places under Nawalapitiya police division have been affected due to flood.
More than 100 houses in the area were filled with flood water due to rain and some more houses were damaged.
It is noteworthy that the incident has been brought to the attention of the concerned authorities.
