Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) MP, Professor Ranjith Bandara, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) today (October 06).
He was appointed instead of former Chairman Professor Charitha Herath.
It is noteworthy that, 14 members of the Committee had voted in his favour and 07 in favour of Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Eran Wickramaratne.(NewsNow)
