A 21-year-old woman was shot dead in Shiva Nagar in Vavuniya last night (October 18).
Sri Lanka Police said that the killer had waited in hiding near her house, and committed the murder, and thereafter fled the scene.
Further, the body was moved to the Vavuniya Hospital morgue for the post-mortem examination.(NewsNow)
