The opening of Togg’s campus in Gemlik, which started out with the motto “More than an automobile”, witnessed historical references and historical comparisons.
According to the statement made by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the opening ceremony brought together names from different points of the political spectrum. In addition to politics, important names from diplomacy, industry, commerce, bureaucracy, and media attended the ceremony in Gemlik.
Robots in production became maestros

The robots in Togg’s production led the orchestra that performed the National Anthem together with the conductor. The National Anthem clip, shot at the Togg campus, was also highly appreciated. The robot maestro received full marks from the program participants.
The movie prepared for Turkey’s Automobile was also the center of attention. The film, which started with Togg’s high-tech production phase, drew attention to the details of the meticulous placement of each piece. The unique geography of Anatolia, which inspired Togg’s colors, such as Cappadocia, Pamukkale, and Gemlik, was also featured in the film.
In his speech, Erdoğan reminded a photograph taken in Uşak on the 10th anniversary of the Republic. “This is how we won the Republic.” Describing the photo of the banner and the citizens there, Erdoğan said, “Our country has now reached a level where it will celebrate the anniversary of the founding of our Republic with the opening ceremonies of Marmaray, Istanbul Airport and Togg facility. Today, as we implement a century-old project like Togg, once again and with all our hearts.” We say ‘Long live the Republic’.” said.
For the motto “Long Live the Republic” emphasized by President Erdoğan in his speech, a unique platform, and lighting system was set up at Togg’s Gemlik Campus. Behind the special platform, 25 meters wide and 9 meters high, there was the slogan “Long Live the Republic” in white on a red background and the date 29 October 2022 with the Togg logo. President Erdoğan and Emine Erdoğan, employees of Togg posed flags and waved hands in front of the platform for the photo shoot that has been recorded in history.
Two red-colored Toggs named Anadolu and a white-colored Togg named Pamukkale took the lead in the photograph. After the photo shoot, Erdogan said to the applause of the Togg employees, “History will write you very decisively, you make a mark on history. You will not be forgotten when you write this note in history.” he replied.
