Sisila Kumara, the Senior Superintendent of Police in charge of Monaragala Division, who was recently arrested with ganja, has been suspended with immediate effect.
Accordingly, the work ban of Senior Superintendent of Police Sisila Kumara Herath, who was in charge of Monaragala Division, will be effective from the 10th.
This decision has been taken by the Inspector General subject to the approval of the National Police Commission.
