The overseas travel ban imposed on the former Central Bank Governor, Ajith Nivard Cabraal has been extended once again.
Accordingly, Cabraal is further barred from travelling abroad until February 16.
The court issued the order after taking up for consideration a private plaint that was filed by the former Governor of the Southern and Central Provinces, Rajith Keerthi Thennakoon.
A private plaint was filed against Cabraal, accusing him of allegedly misusing state funds during his tenure as the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka from 2006 to 2015.
