Action will be taken against fuel stations that fail to follow the National Fuel Pass (NFP) programme, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO) said in a statement.
CEYPETCO stated that several complaints have been received of fuel stations disregarding the fuel pass system and engaging in malpractices.
Accordingly, the CPC warned that it would either suspend the licenses of such disobedient fuel stations or suspend supplying fuel to them in the future.
