New date announced on Feb 7 means club has exceeded its agreement with Haringey Council and requires retrospective permission
Tottenham Hotspur are holding talks with Haringey Council over obtaining a special licence to hold the additional sold-out Beyoncé concert for which the club have already cashed in on.
Telegraph Sport understands that Tottenham have a licence to stage six musical events a year at the club’s £1 billion stadium, but the extra date, announced by Beyoncé on Feb 7, means they are due to host seven concerts in 2023.
Beyoncé’s extra date means the American singer will play five dates across May and June at the Tottenham stadium, with general admission tickets sold out and remaining premium packages costing over £350 per person.
