According to the Tire Importers Association, the cost of imported tires might be cut by 5%.
Despite the rupee’s strength against the dollar, the association claimed that it can currently fall by 5%.
The organization’s leader, Mr. Sunil Fonseka, claimed that the presence of veteran wholesalers was to blame.
But he added that following the arrival of the fresh stock, a 15% price cut on imported tires is anticipated over the course of the following three months.
