The whale known as “Lolita,” who entertained tourists for nearly 50 years off the shore of Miami, Florida, has been returned to her natural habitat.
The Pacific Northwest is where that is.
Animal welfare advocates have been calling for her release for years.
As a result, the procedure for returning her to her home must be finished within the following two years.
