The Supreme Court of Sri Lanka has issued a Gazette notification amending the attire for female attorneys-at-law.
In a Gazette dated March 30, 2023, the Supreme Court modified the appropriate attire for female lawyers.
The modified outfit looks like this:
- Saree and jacket in white, black, off-white, grey or mauve
- Black trousers with a white blouse and black coat and shoes
- Black skirt with a white blouse and black coat and shoes.
