Kanchana Wijesekera, the minister of power and energy, has assessed the development of the ongoing initiative to install rooftop solar panels on governmental structures and religious institutions.
As a result, according to the Minister, 90% of the surveys in this regard have already been finished, identifying national schools, universities, technical colleges, teaching schools, armed forces buildings, police stations, and religious institutions of all religions that are not generating any income.
Wijesekera promised that the survey would be finished by April 15 on Twitter.
