Special bus and train routes have been planned today to make it easier for people to get back to Colombo after the April New Year celebrations.
The special train and bus services have been running since yesterday, according to Daily News (16).
N. J. Indipolage, the deputy general manager of railways, reported that special trains are running today from Badulla, Beliatta, and Galle to Colombo.
Lalith de Alwis, the chairman of the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB), announced that many buses have been sent to help with transportation for individuals going back to Colombo.
