The next meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Public Accounts (COPA) will include a summons to the Sri Lanka Police.
The Sri Lanka Police are required to report to COPA on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, according to COPA Chair State Minister Lasantha Alagiyawanna.
Alagiywanna reported that the Police Department has been called in to review the Auditor General’s performance to date and recent reports.
On Tuesday, April 25, 2023, COPA has also received a report from the Department of Samurdhi Development.
