There are now two additional Provincial Chief Secretariat posts made by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
As a result, Danayanthi Paranagama has been named the Chief Secretary of the Uva Province, while Ajith Premasinghe has been named the Chief Secretary of the Central Province.
The President’s Media Division (PMD) stated that both people are Special Grade Officers of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS), and that the appropriate appointments will take effect upon the retirement of the current officers.
