The court would not issue an order relating to the arrest of State Minister Diana Gamage for violations of the Immigration and Immigration Act, according to Colombo Chief Magistrate Prasanna Alwis.
The decision was made, according to the Chief Magistrate, since the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is authorized by law to take the appropriate actions for the State Minister’s arrest for the relevant offenses.
