Manusha Nanayakkara, the minister of foreign employment, claimed that South Korea had granted Sri Lanka the greatest employment quota in its history.
According to a statement from Minister Nanayakkara, South Korea has granted Sri Lanka the highest employment quota for this year.
The minister said that a 6500 job quota has been acquired and that as a result, up to 200 Sri Lankan migrants are being sent out every week.
“109 Sri Lankans left yesterday to work in South Korea’s fishing industry. 28 more Sri Lankans are scheduled to fly the following day, and 65 more are scheduled to fly tomorrow, according to Minister Nanayakkara.
