COVID : Govt begins releasing numbers again

On Tuesday, April 25, 2023, four cases of Covid-19 were discovered in Sri Lanka, according to a statement from the health ministry.

According to the Ministry, 672,143 Covid cases have been documented in Sri Lanka overall since the pandemic’s start in 2019.

Out of the total cases documented, more than 655,000 have recovered, but the illness claimed the lives of more than 16,800 people.

The government has resumed reporting new illnesses after earlier ceasing to do so because to Covid infections.
