According to United National Party (UNP) General Secretary Palitha Range Bandara, the Government is considering whether to raise some of the salaries of state employees in the most recent quarter.

Speaking to the media yesterday (May 7), Range Bandara said that if they are able to come near to the aim anticipated by the government, the people will profit.

“Sri Lanka has successfully escaped insolvency. All the benefits from this have gone to the public, he claimed.

The President has pledged to revive the economy, and the UNP General Secretary added that during this last quarter, it is anticipated that salaries in the public sector will grow.

“As a result, steps are being done to enhance revenue and collect money. State-sector employees will receive the benefits if the government is successful in meeting the anticipated objective, he continued.
