In response to Sri Lanka’s ongoing dollar problem, MP Dhammika Perera claimed that the country still hasn’t established a reliable route for foreign currency to enter the country.
The business mogul blamed a lack of funds for Sri Lanka’s ongoing tax issue while speaking at a gathering in Middeniya, Hambantota.
He said that the decline in Sri Lanka’s imports as a result of the dollar shortage had a direct impact on the revenue generated by customs charges and levies.
