The Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court has revoked the travel ban placed on a number of people, including former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
Accordingly, the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court has fully lifted the international travel ban that had been placed on former president Mahinda Rajapaksa, minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi, lawmaker Rohitha Abeygunawardena, and former Provincial Council (PC) member Kanchana Jayaratne due to the events that occurred on May 9, 2022.
