Brazil donates medical supplies to Sri Lanka

Through the Brazilian Cooperation Agency (ABC), the Federative Republic of Brazil sent medical supplies to Sri Lanka, including 10,000 vials of regular human insulin and 80,000,000,000 polypropylene tips.

Sergio Luiz Canaes, the Brazilian ambassador to Sri Lanka, presented medical supplies to State Minister of Foreign Affairs Tharaka Balasuriya on May 17 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Colombo.

The State Minister of Foreign Affairs thanked the Brazilian government for this act of kindness while highlighting the long-standing friendship between Sri Lanka and Brazil.

O.L. Ameerajwad, the director general of the ministry of foreign affairs, and other representatives attended.

The Sri Lankan Embassy in Brazil organized the donation.
