Password sharing on Netflix has been prohibited for the US and more than 100 other nations.
The relevant account holders cannot reveal their credentials outside of their residences, the agency stated.
Additionally, it is stated in the notice that anyone who violate this policy would face harsh penalties.
Customers in 103 nations, including the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Australia, Singapore, Mexico, and Brazil, have already received emails concerning account sharing as a result.
A Netflix account should only be used by one family, according to the policy.
But an additional member from outside the house can be added after making a particular payment.
In order to increase its revenue, Netflix made this choice.
