The principals of all schools on the island have been instructed by the commissioner general of examinations not to deny applicants their admission cards for the G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination in 2022 or 2023 for whatever justification.
This has been stressed by Examinations Commissioner General H.M.C. Amith Jayasundara in a statement regarding the upcoming O/L exam in 2022 (2023).
The Exams Chief further highlights that the student’s school’s principal will be fully responsible if any student is unable to take the exam because admission cards are not available.
