According to Mr. Kanchana Wijesekera, Minister of Electricity and Energy, it has been determined to raise the fuel allotment currently specified in the national fuel permit QR system.
It coincides with the fuel price adjustment that will take place the following month.
In a tweet, he stated that the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation’s finance, commercial, and marketing departments met yesterday afternoon to make this decision.
