An expert committee has approved a pilot project to grow marijuana inside the Board of Investment (BOI) zone in Katunayake.
As a result, the pilot project to grow marijuana within the BOI is anticipated to begin shortly, according to State Minister for Investment Promotion Dilum Amunugama.
Amunugama went on to say that the proposed project will be started with the participation of an investor.
