With effect from tomorrow (May 31), the government has agreed to enhance the gasoline allocation allotted under the National gasoline Pass QR System.
As a result, registered taxi three-wheelers will get 22 liters of fuel each week, while other three-wheelers get 14 each week.
A weekly fuel limit of 14 litres will be allotted to motorbikes, and a weekly quota of 40 litres will be given to vehicles.
Additionally, starting at midnight today, the current 30-liter fuel cap for vans will be doubled to 40 liters.
Additionally, the weekly fuel allowance for lorries will be raised to 125 liters and the 60-liter quota for buses will be extended to 125 liters.
According to Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera, the enhanced new fuel allowances will be made accessible as of midnight tonight (May 30).
