The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) announced that a 20-hour water restriction would be imposed in a number of areas of the Western Province.
According to the Water Board, there will be a water supply interruption starting at 10:00 tomorrow (March 13) and lasting until 6:00 am on Wednesday (March 14).
Thus, the Gorakapitiya, Siddamulla, Aruwwala, Rathmaldeniya neighborhoods, Maharagama-Piliyandala Road, Edirisinghe Mawatha, Moraketiya, Madawala, Bokundara, and other related roads of the aforementioned areas will all experience a water cut.
The Water Board also stated that the need for immediate maintenance work is the reason for the water cut.
