Early on June 17th, President Ranil Wickremesinghe departed the island for an official tour to the UK and France.
The Head of State departed from the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake at roughly 3.30 a.m. with a delegation of senior officials, Wickremesinghe will meet with Paris Club creditors to discuss issues relating to Sri Lanka’s debt dilemma while he is in France.
