When ruling on the writ petition submitted by the Senior DIG today (June 26), the Appeals Court judge bench, comprised of Justices Nissanka Bandula Karunaratne and A. Marikkar, issued the order.
A writ order was also granted by the Court of Appeal rejecting the Attorney General’s letter designating SDIG Tennakoon as a suspect in the attack on the “GotaGoGama” protest camp at the Galle Face Green on May 9.
