Despite certain reports, Laugfs Gas PLC, one of Sri Lanka’s two major domestic liquefied petroleum (LP) gas suppliers, has maintained that there is no gas shortage in the nation.
Nalinda Kurukulasooriya, the CEO of Laugfs Gas, commented on the situation and promised that all terminals are now stocking up on one month’s worth of LP gas.
Speaking in the meantime about potential LP gas price reductions, Kurukulasooriya stated that a price revision will be made when necessary, guaranteeing that consumers will profit from said change.
The value of the Sri Lankan Rupee relative to the US Dollar and the supply of LP gas, he added, will determine how the price is revised.
