The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has received approval from the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) to revise its electricity rates, which will take effect on July 1st.
As a result, the unit price will be decreased by Rs. 10 and the power prices in the household category for users of fewer than 30 units will be cut by 65%.
