A spectacular celestial occurrence, the Buck Moon, also known as a supermoon, will be seen in all its splendour for up to three days this week, according to NASA.

Due to its irregular orbit and near to Earth, the Buck Moon is larger and brighter than usual. Native American tradition gave the name “Buck Moon” to the period when male deer’s antlers are fully developing.

The only other noteworthy supermoon in 2023 will be August’s full moon, according to astronomers, who forecast that this year’s supermoon will be the closest to Earth.
