The Livestock Development Division of the Ministry of Agriculture has stated its intentions to develop six small-scale milk processing companies under the concessional financing program provided by the French government.
The first of these facilities was opened on July 4th in the Wariyapola neighborhood of Minhettiya, under the auspices of Minister of Agriculture Mahinda Amaraweera.
