In an effort to disperse a protest march being organised by the Inter University Students’ Federation (IUSF) in Colombo, police have used water cannons.
As a result, a reporter with Ada Derana confirmed that water cannons were deployed to scatter the student demonstrators near Lipton Circus in Colombo.
