Despite the price increase on the global market, liquefied petroleum (LP) gas cylinder prices will not be raised today, according to Muditha Peiris, chairperson of Litro Gas Company.
However, as part of the monthly price revision based on the pricing formula, Litro Gas Lanka was scheduled to publish its price modification of residential LP gas cylinders today.
Since the beginning of the year, Litro Gas has announced four straight price drops. As of last month, the cost of a 12.5kg cylinder was reduced to Rs. 2,892 and that of a 5kg cylinder to Rs. 1,198.
