The Sri Lanka Red Cross Society has made the decision to file a lawsuit against a number of individuals who it claims defamed the group after being expelled from the association.
According to sources, legal action would be taken against the group for comments made to the media that were thought to be damaging to the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society’s reputation.
At a meeting of the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society Board of Directors convened on Monday (August 7), the decision to file a lawsuit was made.
