According to Sri Lanka Railways, train operations along the Kandy-Matale railway line are expected to be interrupted between August 18 and August 21 due to track maintenance.
Accordingly, due to maintenance being done on the railway track between Kandy and Katugastota, trains running between Matale and Kandy will be temporarily stopped from midnight on August 18 to 4:00 a.m. on August 21.
