The Colombo District will experience an 18-hour water outage on Saturday, August 19, according to the National Water Supply and Drainage Board.
The water board claims that the electricity board’s overhead power line system is undergoing maintenance, which is the reason for the water interruption.
From 8:00 am on Saturday, August 19 until 2:00 am on Sunday, August 20, there will be a disruption in the water supply.
As a result, the areas of Colombo, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Kotte, Kaduwela, Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa, Kollonawa, Kotikawatte, and Mulleriyawa, Ratmalana, and Katubedda Pradeshiya Sabha would experience water service interruptions during this time.
