President Ranil Wickremesinghe will formally launch the recently built luxury hotel, Hilton Yala Resort, at the Yala Wildlife Tourism Zone in Palatupana on Saturday, August 19.
The hotel was erected by Melwa Hotels, with an investment of approximately US$ 16 million, according to owner Muruganathan Pillai.
The 42 family-friendly villas, rooms, and suites at the Hilton Yala Resort each have a pool, spa, and special dining options.
Along with building the 141-room Hilton Negombo and signing contracts to build the Hilton Hotels in Kandy, Kosgoda, Nuwara-Eliya, and Colombo International Airport, the Melwa Group also developed the Hilton Yala Resort.
