According to an announcement from the national airline, SriLankan Airlines, direct flights between Colombo and Jeddah have resumed.
As with Tuesday (15 August), there will be three flights each week between Colombo and Jeddah: on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays.
The following Airbus A330-200 aircraft will be flown by the oneWorld member as a result:

UL281 CMB1425 – 1810JED 332 27
UL282 JED1915 – 0405+1CMB 332 3
UL282 JED1925 – 0415+1CMB 332 27
Additionally, SriLankan Airlines provides daily service to Saudi Arabia, with one flight each day departing from Colombo for Dammam and Riyadh.
